Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Bhavya Gandhi Aka Tappu Loses His Father Vinod Gandhi Due To COVID-19
Bhavya Gandhi’s father Vinod Gandhi passes away due to COVID-19 in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital
According to reports in Pinkvilla.com, Bhavya Gandhi who became a household after his portrayal of Tappu Gada in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, lost his father Vinod Gandhi due to COVID-19 complications. The actor’s father was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital after he tested positive for COVID-19, where he was in ventilator support for the last 10 days. He passed away last night, he is survived by his wife Yashodha and sons Nischit and Bhavya. We pray for his soul to rest in peace.
So far the family has not released any official statement. Bhavya was supposed to attend his cousin Samay Shah’s sister’s wedding, but as his father was unwell he made his presence at the wedding by virtually attending it. Bhavya after being associated with the popular SITCOM Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah that made him a household name, he quit the show in 2017. Back then it was reported of the actor planning to explore new opportunities and hence bid goodbye to the show.

Recently actor Kush who plays Goli on the show was also tested positive for COVID-19, besides him three crew members were also gripped by the virus.
